How to play Meet-up
Reunite with your team in an unknown city.
What it is about
In Meet-up, two or more players from the same team spawn apart at different points of a real city and must reunite using only Street View. Nobody knows exactly where the others are: you describe your surroundings, read signs, look for landmarks and coordinate by voice to converge on the same spot.
How it works
The host chooses the city, the initial distance between players, the meeting radius and the finish condition (two players meeting, or the whole team). When the game starts, each player moves through the streets looking for shared landmarks until they get close enough to the rest of the team.
Roles: Traveller (plays in Street View) and Spectator (watches the map and the progress).
Players 2 to 10 players, in teams.
Tips
- Describe large, visible landmarks: towers, rivers, stations, monuments.
- Read street and shop names together to build a shared mental map.
- Agree on a recognisable meeting point instead of chasing each other blindly.
- Use external voice chat (Discord) to describe your surroundings in real time.
