How to play Hide & Seek

What it is about

Hide & Seek brings the classic game to Street View. Each player secretly saves a hiding spot somewhere in the city. Then the others try to guess where it is by marking it on the map: the closer to the real hiding spot, the more points you score.

How it works

The host configures the rounds and the times for hiding and for seeking. In the hiding phase, each player explores and fixes their spot; in the seeking phase, the others read clues from the surroundings and mark their guess on the map. The score depends on the distance.

Roles: Hider (hides and seeks) and Spectator.

Players 2 or more players.

Tips

• Choose a hiding spot with ambiguous clues: avoid overly obvious landmarks.
• When seeking, look at the style of the buildings, the vegetation and the signs.
• A good hiding spot is in a recognisable but not unique area.
• Mark carefully: an error of a few metres can cost many points.
