About the city
This scenario explores Miraflores, the best-known coastal district of Lima, the capital of Peru. Overlooking the Pacific, it offers the Malecón along the cliffs, the Parque del Amor with its mosaic and Kennedy Park at its heart, ringed by cafés. Leafy streets mix republican houses with modern buildings.
From the cliffs you can see paragliders soaring over the coast and the Larcomar mall, set into the rock facing the sea. Avenues like Larco and Pardo structure the very walkable, green district.
Pistas para orientarte
The Pacific Ocean and the brown cliffs of the malecón are the immediate reference: the sea is always to the west. Look for the paragliders, the well-kept park lawns, the bougainvillea and the grey sky of Lima's garúa for much of the year. You will see Peruvian plates and assorted taxis. The open malecón and parks suit Meet-up and Rally; the inner streets suit Hide & Seek.
