About the city
This scenario explores the great landmarks of Paris, the capital of France. The Seine crosses the city and on its central island stands Notre-Dame, while the Eiffel Tower dominates the Champ de Mars and Les Invalides. From the Arc de Triomphe, on the Place de l'Étoile, twelve avenues radiate, among them the Champs-Élysées running down to the Concorde and the Louvre.
Haussmann's boulevards, with their pale stone buildings, wrought-iron balconies and grey zinc roofs, give Paris its uniform look. Montmartre, crowned by the Sacré-Cœur, tops the city to the north with steep cobbled streets.
Pistas para orientarte
The cream-stone Haussmann buildings, with their iron balconies and zinc roofs, are Paris's signature. Look for the Art Nouveau metro entrances (the Métropolitain sign), the Morris columns, the green bouquiniste stalls by the Seine and the French plates with a blue strip. Steep Montmartre suits Hide & Seek; the boulevards and open squares suit Rally and Meet-up.
